Your data stays on your device.

Vedic Calendar Pro is designed to be privacy-first. All astronomical calculations — panchang, kundali, planetary positions, festivals — are computed entirely on your device. We do not operate any server that receives your personal data or birth details. We collect limited, anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it over time — never to identify you personally.

We use Mixpanel, a product analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data. This includes:

• Which screens you visit and how often
• When the app is opened (used to measure daily active users)
• When a Kundali is generated — including birth date, birth city, and timezone offset (e.g. "Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh", "+5.5")
• Device type, operating system, and app version

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any information that directly identifies you. There is no account or signup required. Analytics data is tied to an anonymous device identifier assigned by Mixpanel.

• Your saved location (city, latitude, longitude, time zone)
• Birth details you enter for Kundali (name, date, time, place)
• Theme preference and app settings

This data is stored using your device's secure local storage (MMKV on mobile). It is never transmitted to us or any third party. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

The app does not require an internet connection for its core features. All astronomical calculations are performed locally using on-device libraries. The only outbound network calls are anonymous analytics events sent to Mixpanel's servers (EU region) as described above.

We use Mixpanel for product analytics. Mixpanel receives anonymous usage events as described above. Their privacy policy is available at mixpanel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Data is stored on Mixpanel's EU servers.

App store platforms (Apple App Store, Google Play) may collect their own anonymous install and crash data according to their respective policies — this is outside our control.

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected, no special protections are needed beyond what is described here.

If we ever change how the app handles data, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Material changes will be highlighted within the app itself.
